Thank you for your wishes, Drora and Jodi! Our independence day celebrations are quite serious. It's probably because of the heavy price we paid for the war fought against Russia. There are military parades and people also take part in torch light processions or visit the soldiers' graves. The President holds a reception and some people like to watch it on TV. We also light blue and white candles on the window sills to commemorate those who gave their lives for us.
