Joulukalenteriaika!
It is time for the Advent calendar!
Sain mustan taulunkehyksen ja kuvan joulukalenteriswapista. Lisäsin vähän kullanväristä maalia kehyksen reunoille ja liimasin kuvan paikoilleen. Taulu on tarkoitettu joskus tulevaisuudessa valmistuvaan Art Deco -tyylin hotelliin.
I got the black frame and the picture from one of my advent calendar swaps. I added some gold color around the frame edges and glued the picture in place. The "painting" is intended for my future Art Deco-style hotel.
Väinölän joulukalenterista sain paperinukke- ja laatikkoprintin. Kokosin laatikon ja leikkasin nuken ja vaatteet irti.
I got this paper doll print from one of my advent calendars. I cut out the doll and its clothes and put the box together.
Paperinukke mekossa ja muut vaatteet laatikossa. Alapuolella nukella takki yllä.
Here's the paper doll wearing one of her dresses with her other clothes neatly inside the box. In the photo below the doll is wearing her coat.
Remember my other miniature-themed advent calendar? It had 24 windows mostly with small wooden kit items. Here are some of the minis that I've already put together.

Here are the minis I made for our club's annual calendar swap plus a heart-shaped chocolate cake that I forgot to photograph.

Kaikki kivoja minejä. Tonttuovi eteismatolla oli hauska idea!
Very nice gifts in the swap. The tiny elf door with the door mat is just what I need for my Christmas themed roombox.
A few days ago I made myself a wooden candle holder and now I got one also in the swap. This one is slightly bigger than mine and the color is what we call 'Christmas red' (scarlet) whereas mine is painted almost crimson. In addition to the Christmas tree I bought at Ikea, I also received one in the swap (see photo below) although I must say that the tree from the swap is much more beautiful than the Ikea one. All this needs is some decorating. No problem - I will have use for several candle holders and also Christmas trees as I'm in the process of making a Christmas-themed roombox.
