Rintamamiestalon fiksausta - Fixing my 1:18 scale house

Rintamamiestalon fiksaus on jatkunut. Aloitetaan katosta. Alkuperäinen katto oli vimpula eikä muutenkaan kovin siisti. Musta, hiekkapaperista tehty huopakatto sai väistyä alumiiniteipistä tehdyn peltikaton tieltä.

I've been fixing my 1:18 scale house. Let's start with the roof. The original roof was wonky - it had to be renewed. The old, black felt roof made of sanding paper had to give way to the new tin roof made of aluminum tape.

Lisäsin keittiöön muutaman uuden tavaran: kukkapurkki ruokapöydälle ja pannunalunen huuvan reunalle. Ruoka-astiakaapin olen tehnyt itse ja se on tyypillinen ajalleen. Parempi kuva alla.
I added a couple new items in the kitchen: the flower pot on the table and a trivet by the hood over the stove. I've made the food and crockery cabinet and it's a very typical one of its era. A better photo is available below





Keittiön ulkoseinällä olevan ikkunan alle tein ikkunalaudan ja lisäsin seinälle kellon.
I made a window sill under the window of the kitchen outer wall and added a clock on the wall.



Talossa on sähköt mutta ompelimossa pitää vielä käyttää öljylamppua.
Although the house has electricity installed, the dressmaker still has to use an oil lamp.



Yläkerran makuuhuoneeseen lisäsin vielä sermin.
I added a screen in the upstairs bedroom.

Nyt olen tyytyväisempi lopputulokseen ja on aika siirtyä tekemään muita minejä.
Now I'm fairly happy with the end result; it's time to move on and start making other minis.
