Lähikuva baaritiskistä - Closeup of the bar counter

Lähikuva tiskistä.

Baari on vihdoin valmis! Tiski on tuunattu Lidlin korkeasta keittiökaapista, metallituki rikkimenneestä kellosta. Baarissa on peilikatto, oikeassa yläreunassa kaiutin (kuulokkeesta). Tiskillä oleva "marmorielefantti" on Nasulta, lompakko Nannalta ja led-valaisin ja pullot Doloresista.
The bar is finally finished - here's a closeup of the counter. A full photo is available here. The bar was made into a cardboard box that used to contain a small bottle of Unicum. The box is only 13.3 cm tall and 10.3 cm wide. The bar stools are made of the metal parts of sparkling wine caps, upholstered with some fur-like material. The counter is originally a tall wooden kitchen cabinet from where I removed the top part. The metal at the bottom is from a broken clock.
The ceiling is covered with a mirror, and there's an amplifier at the right top corner of the wall.
The "marble" elephant is from a friend as is the wallet with euros in it.

Baari valmistuu - The bar is almost ready

Baarissa on jo asiakas!

Pehmusteet ovat saapuneet, vain oluthanat puuttuvat ja baarissa on jo asiakaskin!
The seat cushions arrived and only the beer taps are missing. There's already one customer in the bar.
I also want to welcome two new readers to my blog, Ginger and Tyla!

There's still lots to do in the bar. The chairs have arrived but there are some delivery problems with the seat cushions and the beer taps - maybe because of the extreme cold - and the bar tender doesn't have appropriate pants to wear (!). No wonder he doesn't look very happy and is having some beer. Click on the photo to see a bigger version of it.

Baari valmistuu pikkuhiljaa. Pullo- ja lasihylly ja tiski ovat valmiita. Baarimikkokin on löytynyt!
The bar I'm working on is coming together gradually. The shelf for bottle and glasses is finished as is the bar counter. And I found a bar tender to work there!

Baari tulossa - Working on a bar

A bar at work

Harvoin tulee otettua kuvia mineistä tekovaiheessa, nyt kuitenkin teen poikkeuksen. Baarin lattia on valmiina, hylly maalauksessa ja tiski ja jakkarat vasta mielessä.

I seldom take pictures of the working stages of a miniature but this time I made an exception. I'm working on a bar into this small box and I've just finished the floor. The shelf is painted but I've got only a vague idea of how to make the counter and chairs.
