Huonekaluja kiteistä - Furniture from kits

It is a long time ago since I bought these three laser cut kits from Nukkekoti Väinölä and it is only now that I built them all in one go. The vanity is from the 1950s and exactly like the one my grandmother had in real life. The tv-set is a bit newer, from the 1970s, something my paternal grandparents had. To get the right color to them, I used an alcohol-based felt pen. It was a new experience but the finish on the surface turned out much more realistic than it would have if I had used acrylic paints.

Last but not least are the two vintage chairs that were painted using acrylic color and the seat cushions were made by me.

I haven't yet decided where I will use them but at least, they are now ready for use.
