Tässä on ihan ensimmäinen kokeilu kiiltävälle ja läpinäkyvälle kutistemuoviarkille. Väritin kuvan pastelliliiduilla, joten ei mennyt ihan niinkuin Strömsössä. Paras värikynävaihtoehto olisi ollut vedenkestävä tussi mutta niitä ei nyt ollut saatavilla. Puuvärikyniäkin voi käyttää mutta kiiltävä pinta hylki niitä.
Lopputuloksesta tuli modernin taulun kaltainen teos. Sain porattua rei'än valmiiseen työhön käsikäyttöisellä poralla ja pujotin ripustuslangan "taululle", mikä sijoittui Taidegalleriaani. Kuva alla.
This is my very first experiment with a glossy and transparent piece of shrink plastic. The original size of the drawing was 13x12 cm and this piece shrunk in the oven to 5x5 cm. Water-resistant felt pens would've been the best choice for this type of shrink plastic but as I didn't have any nice colors available, I used pastel blocks for coloring. Not the best option, though. The end result looks a bit like a modern painting. I managed to drill a small hole at the top of this hardened plastic for hanging it in the Art Gallery. See the photo below.
