Uusi pienoishuone: Balettitunti - A new scene: Ballet class

Baletti-aiheinen "pienoishuone" on valmis! Luovuin alkuperäisestä "laatikkoajattelusta" - ensimmäisellä yrityksellä peilin kiinnitys tuotti ikävän yllätyksen vaikka lopulta käänsin suttaantuneen peilin voitokseni ja tein laatikkoon lounasravintolan. Baletti pysyi mielessä koko kevään, insipiraation sain vasta kesällä ja lopputulos näkyy yllä. Flickr-albumistani näet muutamia lisäkuvia eri kuvakulmista.

My ballet-themed scene is finally finished! Initially I wanted to create the scene inside a box but decided to think "outside the box" as my first attempt to create the scene was doomed - attaching the mirror at the back wall of the box gave me a nasty surprise. I didn't want to throw the box away and turned it into a lunch restaurant with a smudgy mirror. Ballet was on my mind all through spring . Inspiration, though, came only in the summer and you can see the result in the photo above. More photos from different angles are available in my Flickr-album.
