Gered papier - Upcycled paper

I received a lovely little notebook (14 cm x 10 cm) with lined sheets and very thin, blue airmail writing paper. Remember that kind of paper? I do and I wrote hundreds of letters on it before we had all this email communication! The sleeve around the notebook said "gered papier" which, according to an online translator, means "saved paper". I took the liberty of translating it into "upcycled paper" especially since the airmail writing paper has a new purpose. This notebook was hand-made by my Dutch friend. Bedankt!
