Lahden miniatyyrimarkkinoilta pöytä, tuolit, jakkara ja kukkapylväs rintamamiestaloon, joka pysyy kasassa vielä teipeillä :o
What is this 'rintamamiestalo' anyway? Wikipedia gives the following definition in English: "A type of detached [wooden] house built after the Second World War for the families of soldiers who fought in the battlefront". Typically the house has 1.5 stories with a kitchen, lounge and one bedroom downstairs and two small bedrooms upstairs. A member in the Finnish Dollshouse Association has produced over 50 pieces in scale 1:18 and I bought one. I haven't put it properly together yet; it's masking tape that's keeping it together. Anyway, I already got some furniture suitable for the house and era at the Lahti miniature fair.
