We have ever-lasting geraniums decorating our kitchen window. This is window film that lets all light in but prevents the passers-by from seeing in, even if the light is on in the kitchen. The film is attached to the window with soapy water; no stains left when you want to take it off.
Any leftovers could be used to create frosted glass in miniature.
