Maria Malmströmin kirjassa Nukkekoti Väinölän tapaan on repunteko-ohje koossa 1:12. Hyödynsin kaavoja mutta tein niistä sopivat kokoon 1:18 ja muutenkin tein pieniä omia muutoksia malliin. Reppu tulee rintamamiestalon eteiseen, joka odottaa panelointia. Koko talo odottaa ulkovuorausta ja ikkunoita mutta on hauskempaa tehdä näitä esineitä kuin rakentaa talo.

This backpack is exceptionally in 1:18 scale as it will go into my rintamamiestalo, the house that I'm working on. It's more fun to make these items rather than complete the house.

The word "rintamamiestalo" means literally "a front man's house" but makes no sense in English. These types of houses were built right after WW2 for those who had lost their homes in the war, and often the man in the family had been a soldier. Typically the houses had two floors with a kitchen, lounge and one bedroom downstairs and 1-2 small bedrooms upstairs. The miniature version has the same layout.
